Atopic dermatitis is a chronic, inflammatory skin disease. The main symptom is pruritus (itching). It is considered one of the most common skin diseases: It affects up to 10% of adults and 20% of children.

Although atopic dermatitis is not considered curable, patients can control the disease and alleviate symptoms using a variety of cosmetic and medical preparations. Therapeutic approaches often focus on skin-caring, itch-relieving, anti-inflammatory and microbiome-restoring products.

Based on the therapeutic approaches described, in this webinar we would like to shed light on the clinical testing of products used in atopic dermatitis.

In addition to the available clinical trial methods, our expert Dr. Gunja Springmann will also address the specific challenges that exist, for example, in the context of patient recruitment or in the evaluation.

The webinar at a glance:

  • Background on atopic dermatitis
  • Scoring and evaluation in the clinical trial
  • Patient-related outcomes and quality of life
  • Measurement methods
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Participation: Free of charge
